Terms of service

CastCall is a tool for community theatre companies to run auditions, casting, schedules, attendance, and communication. It is operated by Jude Alexander ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy.

Keep your login credentials to yourself and tell us if you think your account has been compromised. Accounts for children are not permitted - a parent or guardian creates the account and manages their performers' participation. Company admins are responsible for who they add to their team, since team members can see participating families' information.

Use CastCall for running theatre productions. Don't misuse it: no harvesting other families' information, no impersonating a company or person, no attempting to bypass access controls, and no unlawful content. Companies are responsible for the content of their announcements and notes. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or other people on it.

Information you or your company enter into CastCall stays yours. You give us permission to store, display, and transmit it only as needed to run the service (for example, showing a cast list to a show's participants or sending an announcement email). We don't use your content for anything else.

CastCall is provided as-is, without warranties. We work to keep it available and your data safe, but we can't promise uninterrupted service, and we aren't liable for indirect losses - like a missed rehearsal - arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that can't be waived.

You can stop using CastCall and request deletion of your account any time. We may end or suspend access for breach of these terms, with notice where reasonable. These terms are governed by the laws of Canada.
